The weighted average on the midterm was 144/200 (or 72%; about what was predicted).
The "curve" for exam grades is based on this average and the spread around the average. The weighted spread was 19 points.
The average is mapped onto a letter grade of B- and the "curve" is built from there.
As usual, there was an enormous range of performance on this exam.
Exams can be retrieved on the table outside my lab door at 417 Willamette Hall.
