   a) Research and report on the recently approved Bradwood Landing LNG facility. Where is this located and what are some of the environmental concerns.

   b) Research and report on the current dredging operations on the Columbia river from Astoria to Portland. Why is this occurring? Where will the debris be put? What other environmental concerns are associated with this project?

2. The scalability of cellulosic ethanol (switchgrass, etc) as a good alternative to gasoline is currently a much debated topic. 3. The American Wind Energy Association maintains up to date web information on current and future planned wind energy usage in each individual state in the US. Research and report on the top 3 Wind producing states in the United States - how much electricity is currently generated and how many individual wind farms are there? What is the cost of this electricity to the consumer? What are the future plans for expanding wind capacity in Washington and Oregon?
